Overview

The Ibn Khaldun Foundation was founded on January 26th, 2008 by a group of Tunisians, committed to strengthening and promoting cooperation and fellowship between Tunisia and Japan.

Disposing of three Departments with different themes and interests, the foundation provide a space for a fruitful dialogs between the Japanese and Tunisian societies.

Toward this purpose, it will promote international scientific and academic exchanges, generate debates, publications, and conferences, contribute to the creation of business opportunities and investment relations between both countries and hold sport and socio-cultural events to favor the said inter-cultural dialogs.

Ibn Khaldun Fundation aims to initiate as well as, complement, and internationalize ongoing efforts by national and multinational institutions for Tunisian-Japanese cooperation.

Our objectives:

  • Providing a space for fruitful dialogue between Japanese and Tunisian societies.
  • Contribute to the creation of business opportunities and investment relations.
  • Hold sports & socio-cultural events, inter-cultural dialogues.
  • Providing assistance and support to Tunisians in Japan, build up their mutual solidarity.
  • Providing assistance and support to Japanese interested in cultural, academic and economic exchanges with Tunisia.
  • Promoting the Tunisian identity and values of peace, tolerance and hospitality to the Japanese society.
